Nepal Activates Upgraded Electronic Government Procurement Platform
On 3 November, Nepal’s Public Procurement Monitoring Office launched the first phase of an upgraded electronic government procurement system after suspending the previous platform on 27 August over security concerns. Government entities are now required to publish national and international construction and goods tenders through the new system. No development cost was publicly disclosed. The change creates opportunities for procurement-compliance advisers, cybersecurity companies and e-governance specialists. HPC can support regulatory monitoring, procurement intelligence and compliance partnerships.
